English II: Prompt: Take Lyrics to your favorite song(s) and arrange them in Shakespearean Sonnet form. The poem does not have to "make sense," as this activity is more for learning the structure and rhyme scheme of a sonnet. Requirements: Rhyme Scheme: ABAB/CDCD/EFEF/GG Each line should be 10 syllables long or 5 feet in length (pentameter) Include a rhyming couplet at the end I encourage you to include lyrics from more than one song, and if you need less or more syllables, take away and/or add original words to make it work.
